Last November, David and I were sitting in the office of a literary agency sharing our story with a team who had the tools and skills to share what God has done in our lives with the world. In December, we began the tedious process of writing our story, revisiting old memories and familiar faces along the way. In January we began working on a new website where we could share more of our story in the form of a blog. In the spring of this year we slowly began to understand the ins and outs of social media. Fast-forward to this month, and our book has officially released, and we are officially blown away by the love and support we have been so overwhelmed by in this last month.
We feel so loved!
I’m sure you hear authors thank their readers and supporters all the time, and I’m sure they mean it through and through. But the gratitude we’ve been so deeply feeling in recent weeks goes far beyond a simple “thank you for buying our book”. You see, your support, be it in the form of a book purchase, a “Like” on social media, or prayer over this project, has exemplified God’s faithfulness in such a tangible way to us.
Each time you’ve encouraged David and me, you’ve been the voice of the Lord reassuring us that He is with us and has walked with us every step of the journey. Every prayer and every ounce of support has served to bring us closer to the Lord as we trust Him with our lives.
To say thank you just doesn’t seem like enough. And thinking of how to adequately express our gratitude for each of you who is reading this is quite simply impossible. So we will have to thank you in small ways.
